While Kathryn Hahn was a scene-stealer as the wicked Agatha Harkness inWandavision, viewers were unsure if a whole show starring her character could work. However, it turned out to be a bewitching success. It was a hit with critics and audiences, and its viewership increased each week.

Showrunner and director Jac Schaeffer created an excellent series that captured the Halloween spirit and balanced humor, heart, and drama. The series was initially billed as a miniseries, but it received a major update that improves its odds of getting a second season. On Disney+,Agatha All Alongis labeled as season 1, meaninga season 2 announcementcould be coming soon. Agatha All Along’s New Status Means Vision Quest May Not End The Trilogy

The unofficially titledVision Questseries continues the story of White Vision, who fled Westview after the events ofWandavision. The series will see Paul Bettany return to the role as this new Vision searches for his purpose in life. The Vision spinoff will also include thereturn of James Spader’s Ultron, who hasn’t played the character since 2015’sAvengers: Age of Ultron.According toThe Hollywod Reporter,Vision Questis “meant to be the third part of a trilogy” that started withWandavisionand continued withAgatha All Along.

Based on howAgatha All Alongseason 1 ended, it’s likely a better idea for Marvel to keep Agatha’s events separate from the Vision series.

Vision Quest Shouldn’t Continue The Events of Agatha All Along

However,Billy still can’t find Tommy, and the season ends with Billy and a ghostly Agatha leaving on a quest to find Tommy. Since season 2 hasn’t been confirmed, their search would likely happen inVision Quest, reuniting Vision with his children.

Agatha All Along Episode 8 & 9 Ending Explained: What Happens To Billy & Agatha And What It Sets Up

Agatha All Along episodes 8 and 9 end the show in a thrilling two-part finale, answering many major questions and teasing more to come in the MCU.

However,Marvel should continue the search for Tommy inAgatha All Alongseason 2.Vision Questshould focus on Bettany’s android and his search for a new purpose and identity. Inviting Agatha and Billy into this series would detract from Vision’s story, creating too many side stories that turnVision Questinto a mess. It’s also a good idea for Marvel to capitalize onAgatha All Along’s success by continuing the story in an isolated environment. Vision Quest can succeed on its own, without being attached to Agatha’s spinoff.
