There are some Marvel superheroes whose debuts would surely change theMarvel Cinematic Universein huge ways, and the franchise would be better off with them. TheMCU’s 2025 moviesadd a new slew of characters to the franchise. Among them is a team that is one of the most famous in superhero comics, the Fantastic Four.Marvel Studios' slate of projectsincludes another such team, withan X-Men movie in development for the MCU.

The two teams make up only part of the major Marvel characters from the comics that have yet to debut in the MCU. The Multiverse Saga has all been about setting up the future steps for the franchise and introducing characters with great potential to carry the MCU into the future. Despite thehigh influx of new MCU characters in recent years, quite a few exciting heroes from the comics have yet to debut, and they could lead to some of theMCU’s best moviesand series.

10Beta Ray Bill

Thor Could Get A Worthy Successor

Beta Ray Bill has easily been one of the most requested heroes to join the MCU. Popularly known as “Horse Thor,” Beta Ray Bill is a colorful hero in the comics with an interesting backstory. Afterdefeating Thor in a one-on-one fight, Bill claimed Mjolnir as his own. The two fought once more under Odin’s rules to see if he was worthy, with Bill winning, sparing Thor’s life, and giving him back his hammer.

Stormbreaker, the same MCU axe Chris Hemsworth’s Thor has wielded for multiple movies, is then forged and given to Beta Ray Bill so he can serve as Thor.Bill has been teased before in the MCU, with his face being sculpted in Sakaar as one of the previous winners of the planet’s gladiatorial combats. Bill could serve as Thor’s successor in the MCU or perhaps a cosmic Thor if Hemsworth’s retired to Earth.

9Hyperion

One Of Marvel’s Answers To DC’s Superman

There are two levels to how Hyperion would be an exciting addition to the MCU. The first is a practical one, as the character is one of Marvel’s answers to Superman from the comics. Since one of those,Sentry, is set to debut inThunderbolts*, Hyperion might not be far behind. Sentry possesses a dark side, the Void, and if the character is not contained, a future MCU movie could have to introduce Hyperion to deal with him.

The second exciting element of Hyperion’s possible MCU inclusion is that he fits the Multiverse Saga. In the comics,Hyperion hails from a world that is destroyed when universes collide. He then goes to Marvel’s main Earth, 616, and joins the Squadron Supreme. A similar development could happen in the MCU, with Hyperion’s world being destroyed inAvengers: DoomsdayorSecret Wars.

8Franklin Richards

Could Make An MCU Debut In 2025

Franklin Richards is a special case on the list, as many signs point to the character making his MCU debut in 2025. Set photos, seemingly leaked concept art, and moresuggest that Franklin will appear as a baby inThe Fantastic Four: First Steps. However, whether his sister, Valeria, will appear remains a mystery. Franklin’s MCU debut would be crucial to the franchise.

10 Missed MCU Castings That Could Have Changed Everything

The MCU has cast stars like Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans, who helped shape the franchise, but a few near-castings could have changed everything.

He is one of the most powerful heroes Marvel has. Franklin’s powers include reality manipulation. In the comics' Secret Wars, he is one of the characters whoend up recreating the multiverse after Doctor Doom is defeated. Since 2027’sAvengers: Secret Warsends the franchise’s Multiverse Saga, it is very much possible that Franklin will occupy the same role he does in the comics. Reed Richards and Sue Storm’s son has a bright future.

7Storm

The X-Men Can Establish Ties With The Larger MCU

Storm has already been used by Marvel Studios twice, with both being in animation. The character is one of the stars of the belovedX-Men ‘97, with the Goddess of Thunder being part ofWhat If…?season 3, which showed her potential with MCU elements. The character would change the franchise in exciting ways. First,Storm is one of the best leaders the X-Men have ever had.

The New Mutants (2020)

Deadpool & Wolverine (2024)

She could fulfill that role well in the MCU. Her Omega-level power also makes Storm one of the MCU’s most powerful characters whenever she debuts. The mutant could also be used to expand the X-Men’s reach in the franchise. In the comics,Storm marries T’Challa, aka Black Panther. WithT’Challa rumored to be recast through the multiverse, the MCU could depict that story and try something new with Black Panther.

6Miles Morales

Peter Parker’s MCU Role Could Change

Miles Morales has got to be on Marvel and Sony’s minds for the MCU.The character has become Marvel’s most popular legacy herothanks to his leading role in the animatedSpider-Versemovies. Miles’ live-action debut is in the works, and if that were to happen in the MCU, it would completely change the franchise. Tom Holland’s Peter Parker could have a key role change with Miles in the MCU.

Instead of being mentored by heroes like Iron Man and Doctor Strange, the now college-aged Peter could be Miles' mentor. This way, Marvel would have both a high-school set Spider-Man with Miles and a more mature Spidey with Holland’s Peter. By having two Spider-Men, the MCU could also keep some of the dynamics that worked well with the multiverse Spideys inSpider-Man: No Way Homegoing forward. Miles could eventually take over for Peter.

5Nova

The MCU’s Biggest Villain Could Return

A Nova series was in development for the MCU. However, the project was recently announced to have been put on pause alongside other MCU series. The reasoning for that appears to be that Nova simply does not fit with the rest of the story the Multiverse Saga has left to tell. That is okay, as the cosmic hero could be part of an MCU expansion after the multiverse’s time is over.

The Nova Corps has appeared before in the MCU. However, Nova is a singular hero. Richard Rider inherits the powers of all Nova Corps members, the Nova Force, after the team is wiped out in the comics. The MCU has already revealed thatThanos destroyed Xandar, the Nova Corps' home planet, to get the Power Stone. Nova’s MCU debut could finally allow Marvel to show Thanos getting the only Infinity Stone he did not get onscreen while introducing a powerful new cosmic hero to the franchise.

4Captain Britain

Henry Cavill’s Desired Role Fits The Multiverse Saga

Henry Cavill has long been rumored to play Captain Britain in the MCU. After his franchise debut as a Wolverine variant inDeadpool & Wolverine, that could end up becoming true. Captain Britain would allow Marvel to continue exploring the magic corner of the MCU. The character is tied to theOtherworld, a mystical dimension rooted in high fantasy, with sorcerers, dragons, knights, and more.

Former Superman actorHenry Cavill has revealed that he would like to play the MCU’s Captain Britain.

Captain Britain would offer the MCU its own pocket dimension to play with concepts similar to popular shows likeGame of ThronesandThe Witcher. The hero also makes sense for the Multiverse Saga, ashe is part of the Captain Britain Corps. The team is made out of multiverse versions of Captain Britain, with each tasked with defending their reality and the gateways between dimensions within it. Captain Britain would be refreshing for the MCU.

3Ghost Rider

The MCU’s Supernatural Corner Is Rumored To Be Expanded

Ghost Rider almost made his MCU debut last year.Nicolas Cage’s version of Ghost Rider was considered forDeadpool & Wolverine, with concept art of the character alongside the Void’s Resistance even being released. However, Johnny Blaze was nowhere to be seen. Marvel Studios could still bring the hero to life in the future, as Ghost Rider could introduce new concepts for the franchise’s supernatural corner.

After being rumored to appear in bothWandaVisionandAgatha All Along,Mephisto could finally make his MCU debut in a Ghost Rider project. After all, the devil is crucial to Johnny Blaze’s origin story, tying him to the Spirit of Vengeance as part of a deal. Besides introducing the concepts of hell, demons, and Mephisto to the MCU, Ghost Rider could be part of the franchise’s rumored Midnight Suns project. Ghost Rider would add a dangerous and unpredictable flair to a supernatural team of heroes.

2Ka-Zar

Dinosaurs Can Enter The MCU

Ka-Zar is not one of Marvel Comics' most well-known heroes. However, the character has the potential to be part of an exciting corner of the MCU. In the comics, Ka-Zar is the protector of the Savage Land. The kingdom is crawling with pre-historic creatures, such as dinosaurs and more. The Savage Land’s MCU debut couldgive Marvel a unique mix ofJurassic Parkand traditional superhero fare.

The Savage Land would also appear as an interesting counterpoint to Vibranium and Adamantium. Both metals found in the MCU are sought after due to how they resist a lot of damage. The Savage Land has its own kind of Vibranium, but it is special because it weakens metals rather than making them stronger. Ka-Zar could protect such a dangerous resource from falling into the wrong hands, with dangerous dinosaurs and beasts giving him challenges.

1Balder The Brave

A Long-Time Marvel Studios Desire For The MCU

Finally, Balder the Brave is a character that Marvel Studios has tried to bring to life in every Thor movie. However, the MCU has never quite found the right way to use the character. Daniel Craig was at one point the choice to play Balder inDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but that ended up not happening. Balder having an MCU future would pay off the studio’s years-long attempt to include him.

Balder would also open the door for new stories with Thor and Lokiat a time when both seem relatively done. Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder now has a daughter. Tom Hiddleston’s Loki is holding the multiverse together. Both characters could be brought back together with the debut of a new brother, and Balder being a hero instead of a villain like Hela would ensure that he adds something new to theMCUrather than rehashing what came before.
